LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

This is a beautiful and unusual part of the coastline. Seagull Cottage is situated on an RSPB nature reserve which is frequented by rare over-wintering species and has a plethora of native wildlife.

Imagine relaxing in your private hot tub, taking in the spectacular sunsets as the huge flocks of seabirds and wildfowl come home to roost on the lagoon and the harbour.

Stepping from the garden on to the lagoon beach you could enjoy a stroll over to the main foreshore and along to the harbour.  For the more intrepid ramblers explore the nature reserve and perhaps amble further afield--there are many options for the walker.

The main foreshore and shingle beach are (approx.) 3 minutes away. After facing many troubled years due to coastal erosion there is now a lagoon formed between the foreshore and the sea, from here other activities can be enjoyed such as crabbing, fishing, swimming, kite/windsurfing, kayakking, sailing, and paddleboarding. Close by there is also golf, birdwatching, and great photography opportunities. St Thomas a Becket church is definitely worth a visit as is Church Norton and Sidlesham.

At the end of the bumpy track (approx. 1/3 mile) you will find Pagham Beach Cafe plus seaside kiosks, amusement arcade, Co-op, chemist, newsagent, Indian restaurant/takeaway, fish and chip shop, and a Chinese takeaway. Pagham boasts good pubs which provide excellent food choices and local brews. To travel further afield, there are good bus links direct to Bognor Regis, Chichester etc.
